“The Ichneumon Method” turns twenty years old today and in the absence of a moist outpouring of glistening new larvae, we present the hitherto unreleased (or perhaps, hitherto lodged in its birthing wound) album version of “Chained In The Damnation Asylum”, which was amputated from the final album for reasons best not dwelt upon.

The mixing and mastering of the song have been ably remoistened and jiggled in the slick hands of our longstanding advocate Saulius Bielskis (of the mighty Haeiresis, Velemara and Sisyphean), who surely regrets ever meeting us by now.

The artwork, similar, is drawn from the same sludgeheap of dysfunctional Photoshopery that spawned the original sleeve, though we have felt obliged to begrime it further in order to smear away some of the pixellation, which is hardly a good look in 2023.
An Axis of Perdition continue to ignore everyone’s pleas for us to stop being sick in their ears.
